Wheatland County Counselling

About Us

Brittany Underhill

Brittany’s love for the Strathmore and Drumheller community led her to take over the practice in November 2022, and she is now the Director-Owner at Wheatland County Counselling.

Wheatland County Counselling is a full-service counselling practice with a team of therapists supporting children, adolescents and teens, individuals, couples, families, adults, and participants in the Strathmore and Drumheller areas. Therapists include Registered Psychologists, Provisionally Registered Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors and Masters Level Social Workers, with extensive training in the assessment, treatment, and case consultation needed. Each therapist is trained in various modalities to offer you a holistic approach to meet your needs.

For children, play is their language, and toys are their words. Play therapy is an evidence-based practice proven to help children. Children have a safe space in which they can freely express emotions. Play therapy can improve self-esteem, address behavioural difficulties, assist in emotional regulation, and more.
With a team of therapists available in the practice, there is someone who will be the right fit for you and your concerns. Offering services for adults, couples, families, children and teens, contact Wheatland County Counselling today. We offer various free and subsidized counselling services in addition to private therapy.
