Wheatland County Counselling was founded by Rachel Dundas, Registered Psychologist and Certified Trauma Practitioner.

Rachel has a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and has completed specialized training in the area of Play Therapy. Rachel is currently completing the final requirements as a Certified Play Therapist. This designation is a prestigious achievement in Canada; Rachel will be 1 of only 15 Certified Play Therapists in Alberta.

Rachel has experience working with children, teens, adults and families. She has worked in both the school and health care systems.

Residing in the Wheatland County area, Rachel saw a growing need for accessible counselling and play therapy services, particularly in the Strathmore and Drumheller areas. By providing services in these areas, Rachel hopes that children and families will not face travel barriers that may have prevented them from accessing counselling services in the past.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and organizing. To learn more about her therapeutic approach, click here.
