Residing in rural Alberta, Brittany is passionate about bringing counselling services to individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. In addition to Brittany’s work with Wheatland County Counselling, she also works part-time at Pacekids in Calgary.

Brittany has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has provided treatment for, but not limited to, the following presenting issues: substance use, developing social skills in children, addressing behaviour concerns with children, depression and anxiety, emotional regulation, parenting support, conflict resolution within families, and stress management.

Working from an integrated therapeutic approach stemming from Attachment Theory, Brittany employs methods including mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, and solution focused therapy. Creating an environment where clients feel safe and supported in expressing themselves is central in Brittany’s approach.
