About Linda Barton


Linda is a Marital and Family Therapist as well as Registered Psychologist. She has done training in Hakomi therapy a somatic-based therapy applicable to trauma and other personal issues. She has done specialty training with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and attachment-based work. She is trained in a cognitive behavioral program to address emotional or problem eating called Craving Change and the Connect Program, an attachment-based program to help parents having difficulty with their adolescent children. Linda works with individuals or couples dealing with past trauma, personal development, depression, anxiety, grief, relational problems, family conflict or addiction. Linda may involve other family members in sessions in order to meet client best outcomes and goals when applicable. She works in a way as to enhance or develop strengths that help them understand their own vision, own behaviors and own personality dynamics to optimize to move towards a more problem-free or problem-reduced future.
