Intensive Family Intervention Program Drumheller Office

Does your family need support that you’ve had difficulty finding?

Do you need a qualified therapist to visit your home or to meet you in the community?

Do you need help managing your child’s behaviour or mental health diagnoses or accessing available community support? We can help you in a non-judgmental, supportive way.

The Intensive Family Intervention is a Spoke Program under the Family Resource Network funded by the Ministry of Children’s Services. Certain eligibility restrictions apply.

Wheatland County Counselling has worked in collaboration with the Provincial Family Resource Networks (FRNs) to provide support and services to help Alberta families become resilient, strong, and healthy. Drumheller’s FRN offers free prevention and early intervention services and support for children and youth aged 0 to 18, as well as support for parents and caregivers. Our Drumheller location serves as one of the Province’s Family Resource Networks.

If you feel your family could benefit from this program, don’t hesitate to contact us directly to learn if this program is a good fit for you. Families can self-refer or get referred by various other agencies.
