Hello, I’m Christina.
I’m passionate about providing empathy, compassion, and acceptance on the path to change. I focus on building a trusting and safe relationship as a foundation for effective and lasting changes. I use powerful insights to bring out the answers within and help clients create practical strategies to render meaningful change.
I specialize in sports psychology, including sports performance, self-esteem and coping skills, as an NCCP Level One Coach with experience as a competitive swim coach.
I provide a holistic, integrative counselling approach incorporating emotion-focused therapy, reality therapy, neurobiological trauma therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I’ve worked with adolescents, teens, adults and couples in private practice and healthcare settings. I also have a trauma therapy focus and experience working at a treatment centre for high-risk addiction, trauma and abuse.
I have a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Gonzaga University and a double Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Calgary.
I also support a private practice in Calgary, Alberta.
